Living in Dominion.
O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;
The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.
O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!
Dominion means bringing down your enemy under your feet and never able to fight you back. As a child of God, dominion is your birthright by creation, redemption and prophetic spiritual gazette God has written. God has put you in charge to have dominion according to Jeremiah 1:10 which says:
See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.
You are in charge if you have dominion and everybody obeys you. When you’re in control, nothing will be impossible for you to do. Due to the disobedience of the children of Israel, God gave them over to the Midianites who oppressed them by entering into their harvest and destroying it with their cattle and camels. (See Judges 6:1-5).
God however raised Gideon as deliverer for them and told to “go in this might”. (See Judges 6:14). He realised that the reason for their oppression was sin; he therefore destroyed all the altars of Baal across Israel.
Therefore, he led his army into war against their oppressors and God gave them dominion over their enemy.
For you to enjoy your dominion therefore, you need to
1. Recognise Your Dominion.
If you do not know what you have in your hand, you cannot lay claim to it. If a man does not know what he has, he will live as if he does not have it. (See Galatians 4:1-2).
2. Think Your Dominion.
The way you think determines what you are. If you think you’re poor, you’ll be poor, and if you think you’re rich, you’ll be rich. Consequently, if you think your dominion, you’ll have dominion.
3. Talk Dominion.
You have to talk your dominion like a king. Whatever king says stands, therefore whatever you say is a decree. Job 22:28 says “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways”
4. Act Your Dominion.
Act like a king. Let your action exhibit dominion. You need to act your position because your dominion is derived from God.
Note that having dominion is not a privilege but an assignment given to you at creation as stated in Genesis 1:28.
I pray from now henceforth, You will recognise dominion, think dominion, talk dominion and act your dominion in Jesus name. Amen.
