Let Brotherly Love Continues

Bible Text: Hebrews 13:1-2 Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
Read: 1 Corinthians 13

One of the greatest commandments of all time is love your neighbor as yourself. The bible makes us realize that love is one of the greatest gifts of mankind. John 3:16 says For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. God love us to extend that he had to give out his only son Jesus to die for our sin. If he can give us such a wonderful and beautiful gift and he wanted us to return the love by just loving our neighbor as our self, isn’t that great deal.
1 John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.

The writer in the bible text is telling us that we should let brotherly love to continue, no matter the circumstances, no matter the situation. We should not be bitter against our neighbor neither should we be envious of them. Whenever our neighbors are in need of help, we should try and assist them, show some care by helping them. Love without sacrifice is not love. You have to sacrifice something, be it your time, money, help, material things etc. Matthew 25:35-46

The writer is also trying to tell us that we should try and extend our love, not only to family members or neighbors only but also to strangers. By so doing, some have unknowingly entertained angels.

In fact, if there is any debt at all you want to owe any man let it be love.
Romans 13:8 Owe no man anything, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

Love is when the other person’s happiness is more important than your own. Love is kind, love is patience, love never lies, it always speaks the truth, love never get angry neither doesn’t it keep malice, love never harm, love never cheats, love is caring, Love is giving. Love can be anything beautiful you can think.

A boy was asked what loving kindness is by his teacher, well he said when I’m hungry and you gave me bread, that is love but when you add a little jam to it that is kindness.

The bible also makes us realize that out of faith, hope and love, the greatest of it all is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Beloved, never forgets that being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage. Let brotherly love continues, Have a wonderful day.
